Like all tourist cities there are "do's" and "don'ts" in shopping. Around the University areas, you will find the usual tourist shops, where items probably cost more, but if you move away of course you will find bargains.
There are two main shopping areas in Cambridge. The latest addition is the "Grand Arcade" a new internal development in the city centre, totally undercover, with a selection from the national chains in evidence.
The second area is the "Grafton Centre", about ten minutes walk from the city centre, again an undercover shopping centre, with a mixture of shops and restaurants for everyone.
