So called because of all the Students who use a bicycle as their preferred mode of transport. There are thousands of Students using them, and sometimes not riding with care. When the students are on their way to lunch or at the end of the day it really is a sight to see, hundreds of students all making their way back to the universities at the same time.
Our Language Students may also wish to hire a bicycle of the duration of their Homestay in Cambridge. It is a cheap means of transport and very flexible, we can recommend cycle shops where cycle hire is possible.
A word of warning here, all our traffic is on the "left" hand side of the road, so take care not to drift onto the other side.
